The ceramic mid-range driver which is used originates from the German high-endmanufacturer Accuton and is one of the best worldwide. In combination with the ceramic dome tweeter and the two SEAS Aluminum bass drivers, its sound reproduction is a perfect balance of harmony, smoothness and accuracy. The Divine 100.49 is built around the fantastic C173-T6-090 midrange, one of the best midrange cones from the German high-end driver manufacturer Accuton. It is usually used in only the best and most expensive high-end speakers in the world. The tweeter is also one of the best ceramic dome tweeters available today. It is the KE25SC, also from a German driver producer, Visaton. These two high-end drivers are supported by two excellent 10″ aluminum bass drivers from SEAS.
The highly complicated frequency filter network provides the ability to adjust the level of each driver and adapt in this way the entire speaker not only to the space, but also to your personal preference. It is possible to adjust the level of the tweeter, midrange driver and the two bass drivers to achieve a perfect result. Further adjustments can be done by using the 3 supplied plugs for the bass reflex tubes to close the housing of the Divine for even better precision.
The housing of the Divine 100.49 consists of several layers of MDF with a thickness of up to 90mm so it achieves a highly rigid structure. As additional support, the convex sidewalls keep resonances inside the cabinet to a minimum. Furthermore, the effective damping material that is used helps to award the 100.49 its unique superiority. The housing consists of several chambers in order to provide the respective drivers with optimum working conditions.Two options are available for the surface of the Divine 100.49. The first is a black piano lacquer that is applied in a complex multi-layered process to achieve an absolutely pure and homogeneous surface quality. Alternatively, a high-quality real wood walnut veneer can be chosen which gives the Divine a unique appearance.
The connection terminal of the Divine 100.49 includes gold tri-wiring connectors to provide a perfect fit for the speaker wire. In the terminal you also find the numerous ways to customize the sound of the speaker. It is also possible to use the Divine 100.49 as a fully active speaker, controlling all the individual drivers via an external crossover. All drivers of the Divine 100.49 are protected by metal grill to avoid potential damage. The covers for the tweeter and the midrange driver are permanently installed and optimally matched to the drivers. The covers of the two woofers are removable and thus offer the possibility of changing the look of the speaker, as desired.
