TAC V60 Tube Amp Company in Europe or Vincent V60 in US. 60 watt per channel, remote controlled behemoth of a tube integrated. 4 inputs plus tape, autobias, 4 and 8 ohm speaker connections, front faceplate can be lit up or shut off per one’s preference. More than adequate power to drive my Magnepan 3.3 speakers. Tight bass, firm, dynamic, smooth, silky highs. I am not the original owner, I have put very limited use on the tubes but unfortunately do not know the previous usage on this set. Using A’gon’s scale conservatively of a 7, there is a nick to two here and there, maybe the size of a pencil point. Truly a stunning design.

Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover — or an integrated amplifier by its superior appearance. You can tell at a glance that the Vincent Audio V-60 is something special. The chassis is made from solid aluminum, and an acrylic window provides a peek into the well-executed preamplifier section. The V-60 has been designed to fully live up to your expectations with its no-compromise implementation of vacuum tube technology. And the included wireless remote makes operation especially convenient.
The Vincent V-60 was honored by its inclusion in The Absolute Sound 2012 High-End Audio Buyer’s Guide, which called it, as beautiful to listen to as it is to behold.”
“The midrange, from the tiniest interior detail to the most extroverted dynamics, is authoritative, substantial, and almost Technicolor in its saturation,” reports Neil Gader in the September 2009 issue of The Absolute Sound magazine. “It captures acoustic timbres, harmonics, and textures in a way that is nothing less than breathtaking.”
The V-60 uses Vincent’s innovative bias voltage and constant current control system. This new control system suppresses distortion and noise that not only sounds bad, but which can also actually damage your vacuum tubes. The system automatically monitors the tube circuitry and tweaks operation to optimal level under all conditions. Neither extreme volumes nor abrupt changes between high and low tones can unsettle the smooth performance of this new bias control.
The V-60’s oversize toroidal power transformer offers superior stability during loud or bass-heavy sound passages. The power supply is designed as a MOSFET constant current source with combined voltage regulation. This results in an extremely fast power source that effortlessly keeps pace with the music. It also lowers the interference levels to vanishingly low amounts, reducing the harmonic distortion and providing the clearest audio signal at any volume level. The result is explicitly pure midrange response, smooth, clear treble, and powerful bass.
“The Vincent is the rare kind of integrated amp — a tube amp, no less — that even the most unshakable solid-state fan will recognize as something musically very special,” concludes Neil Gader in The Absolute Sound.
Four RCA inputs, one pair of recording outputs, and a well-laid out front panel give you convenient access to your source components. Two pairs of speaker outputs provide separate ‘taps’ for accommodating 8 ohm and 4 ohm speaker set-ups. A high-quality detachable IEC-type power cord is also provided.
